Click and Buy Your Stuff Through Online

Are you a housewife shopping on line for the men in your family? Or conversely are you a banker planning to blow your savings on shopping online for the women in your life? Well regardless of whether you’re a man, woman, geek, shopaholic housewife, banker or fashion-ista, online shopping websites are your ideal destination. You could be too tired to shop during the week, too lazy to get out of the house on weekends, you could have a husband who isn’t productive in the dress store or you could simply be mightily frustrated with the collection in town; that’s where online shopping websites kick in. Sounds like some of you male readers don’t believe me. Let’s hash it out, shall we?

Exhibit A – Online Shopping for Men

Shopping in itself is a tough sell as far as men are concerned. On line shopping for men is a far cry till date. It would sound pretty bizarre to all when one would speak of shopping online for shoes for men and for apparels and accessories, which sounds like light years ahead in the evolution of man. But think of this, no nagging wife or girlfriend in the background, no wailing kids who make you want to run out of the store screaming and no more yammering salesmen going for the hard sell. Doesn’t ‘online shopping for men`s’ compare to a wanderer coming across an oasis? Well that’s for men in general. What happens when you have to shop for the ‘fairer sex’ the ‘mysterious species’ the ‘Venus’ dwellers? ‘Mars’ dwellers, your life would be a lot easier if you had another woman’s opinion helping you shop for the perfect gift. Easier than asking random women at the store for their opinions and getting slapped for it, is to go online and open a portal to a whole new world; by which I mean on line shopping websites. Online shopping for women is made child’s play- apparel, accessories, shoes, bath and beauty products, hair care products and even the stereotypical home and kitchen appliances for your woman in one place.

Exhibit B – Online Shopping for Mobiles

Irrespective of whether you’re a man or a woman, there is no one you or I know who does not have a mobile phone. Yeah, owning a smart phone is up for debate but mobiles nevertheless. Most of us purchase mobile phones after drooling over ads on the tube or after recommendation by a friend and many of us still end up being unhappy. What if you could read up on not only all the specifications of the phone but also on user experiences and once you have your heart set on one just go ahead and order for it right then and there. While on line shopping for men`s has just about started to sound appealing after my paragraph long monologue, convenience is always first priority for men and I’m pretty sure that the selling point then for online shopping for mobiles cannot be made easier than at the click of a button. I don’t really have to sell this stuff to women and geeks because they’re pre-programmed to be smart.

Men’s Fashion

Although it would be nice if the first impression people took from us was our personality, the fact remains that our exteriors are, naturally, the first thing people consider when they look at us. This is not necessarily style-related; our wardrobes may be perceptions of what our bank accounts or personalities are. Even the smallest details of our dress send messages about ourselves that can be misinterpreted. Men tend to fall victim to this unfair scrutiny often as they tend to be unaware of the silent messages their ensembles are sending. We have provided some simple tips to help you avoid this situation and become more aware of the message you may be sending.

At one time, over-sized clothing was undoubtedly in style. However, that time has come and gone. Now, clothing that hangs on your frame and bags and sags is unattractive and presents an image of untidiness to people who see you. Choose clothing that is tailored to your frame without being too tight, and that provides comfort without being too baggy.

Often men also make another mistake, they do not think about their foot wear choices. It may seem easiest just to grab some tennis shoes out of the closet, but you have to think of what impression this is giving other people. It may not be comfortable for some men to wear anything but tennis shoes, but these men should make sure that their shoes are clean and not too worn.

A good hairstyle is also important to project and image of cleanliness and style. Find one that looks great and is easy to replicate by any stylist. You should have to spend a little extra the first time on a good haircut, but going to a professional, trusted stylist will be well worth the expense.

Try something new. Too often we get stuck in our “comfort zone” and then our style becomes stale. Try spicing things up once and a while, buy that electric blue shirt instead of the pale blue you normally would. Ask your friends, family members or coworkers for their style ideas. Resist that urge to go to the store and purchase the same clothes. Take those few moments and look at what is available, colors, textures, fit of the clothes, try something new.

Men’s Fashion And Style

While women’s fashion is ever-changing, men’s fashion is all about classic, timeless wardrobe pieces, occasionally accented with stylish trend items and colors. The contents of a man’s wardrobe will vary depending on various factors, such as his age, body shape and lifestyle, but there are still some core clothing items that should be a mainstay in every man’s closet.

Because men don’t subscribe to transient trends as most women do, they demand better quality investment pieces in classic colours that will stand the test of time. A careful selection of clothing pieces to make up a capsule wardrobe should include well thought out items to suit every foreseeable occasion, from night to day, and casual to formal. A savvy shopper will choose trans-seasonal items that he can easily mix and match with other wardrobe pieces.

The shirt is a ‘must have’ item in any man’s wardrobe. A good shirt works just as well with casual denims as it does with smarter trousers for formal occasions. A casual cosy shirt option can include fabrics such as: plaid, soft cotton, cambric or flannel. These shirts work well denim or chinos, and can be layered with a knitted cardigan or jumper for colder climates.

The weather, as well as the dress code of the occasion will most likely dictate the style of shirt that should be worn. Long sleeved shirts in muted tones are ideal for office-wear and smart occasion wear, while short sleeved shirts made from materials such as polyester and cotton, suit a smart casual dress code or relaxed social settings.

Dress shirts have seen a resurgence on the fashion scene thanks to classically styled celebrities. The most important factor to take into consideration when choosing a dress shirt is that it fits well; an ill-fitting dress shirt won’t flatter the form and will create a dishevelled look, rather than a sleek, sophisticated style.

Opt for a dress shirt without pockets, in a muted tone such as white or cream, if pairing it with a slick pair of trousers for more formal wear. Dress shirts in darker colours like burgundy and black or with an expressive print, work well with denims; wear with the sleeves turned up for a sleek smart casual dress code.

The type of collar or lack thereof is an important factor to consider when choosing a shirt. For very dressy, formal occasions, a shirt with a spread collar is an ideal shirt option for pairing with a suit and tie. For a shirt that is more casual than a spread collar, but still smart, opt for an oxford button down collar, which works great with jeans, khakis and chinos. Add a well cut blazer to smarten up your ensemble.

Movie Fashion Style

Whenever I need an inspiration for color in fashion, I always revisit my beloved movie ‘Down with Love’. This frivolously delicious and hilarious movie, starring Rennee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor, has itself become a bit of a vintage movie. It is a spoof on the Doris Day and Rock Hudson comedies of the 60s.

The bubbly blonde and the dark, handsome guy, with the ‘girl trying to work hard to get somewhere’ kind of story line. It certainly makes a very deserving ‘chick flick’, perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon. However, the main attractions for me are the costumes. Make no mistake, this is certainly forward thinking in terms of the whole vintage thing. I guess the craze about ‘Mad Men’ really started with this movie.

The costumes were designed by Daniel Orlandi. I am extremely impressed with the fact that it had no real vintage clothing at all. All of the costumes were complete re-designs, fitted and turned into the funny colorful feast of a movie. The whole movie is a nonstop extravaganza of fashion display, overloaded with rainbow colors, beautiful fabrics, and matching outfits. I adore the ensemble of a pink and white wool jacket, over a super-fitted wool dress, matching the color of the jacket and topped with a pair of white gloves for style.

Daniel Orlandi must have read all the magazines from the years 62-67 to draw his inspirations for the movie. “We didn’t want to use vintage clothes on Renee, or any of the other principals, because we didn’t want it to look shabby,” says Orlandi, who instead used vintage fabric for many of his designs. “We wanted the clothes to seem fun and surprising, not campy.”

It definitely does not look ‘thrift shop’, in fact the cut and fit for both actors are simply amazing. Apparently, he intentionally designed the garments with lots of vibrant colors, even though they were not traditional colors for a blonde. I think the bright colors agreed with Renee very well, reflecting on her character and the comedy plot. The riot of colors, lavender, lime, fuchsia, snow-white, magenta and ice blue are certainly a feast for the eyes.

Men’s Fashion

Men’s fashion has always been an industry that commands recognition, what the handsome, chiseled models that display the handiwork of some of the world’s best designers and artisans. With the explosion of social media, men from all around the world are now paying even more attention to how they look; seeking to capture the onscreen attraction of models such as David Gandy and Tyson Beckford.

Given that men are spending so much money and time on menswear these days, new companies are springing up to accommodate them. And cater to the fashion requirements of these patrons. As such, the following is to help instruct younger men – older, too – about the basic elements of male fashion.

Elements of Men’s Fashion

Fashion is essentially a style that encompasses the clothing, footwear and accessories you put on; these can be things such as watches, wallets, sun-shades, bracelets and ties. You may find it helpful to check out a few fashion magazines, and jot down a general list of the things you like – put this list in your Smartphone, so you can start acquiring them little-by-little when you go shopping.

Fashion trends are also dependent on the particular occasion; what you wear should depend a lot on whether you’re going to a formal party, wedding, business meeting or some other special function. Even sportswear counts for fashion – you know how good you feel when you’re wearing certain work-out clothing before heading to the gym.

Keep in mind that the major elements of fashion that cannot be overlooked are the fit and comfort. Baggy clothing is mostly out for grown men – your clothes should not be too baggy or too tight once you hit your 20s. There’s even an extent to which you should sacrifice comfort (just a little) to make sure pants and top aren’t too loose. You don’t want to look unkempt! Proper fit enhances your appearance, and the fabric used goes a long way in helping with this attribute – soft cotton vs. polyester, for example.

Oh – and ditch the flashy colors, as a man. Sure; they may catch the lady’s eye; but it isn’t for a good reason, I can assure you. Men are under pressure to look manly (which is a good thing), so this shouldn’t really be a problem. Avoid reds and pinks, please, if you’re looking to attract women. Grays, blues, browns, blacks, silvers, etc, are always good colors to consider when strategically selecting your ensemble to impress.

The Importance of Getting Good Advice From a Boutique

Why would you even consider going this route? Because a shop or boutique that caters exclusively to men’s fashion employs professionals with considerable experience in menswear. They will help you make the right selection.

They can also counsel you on color schemes that you think are good, just because they look good on the store mannequin. The professional will more easily be able to picture how they’ll look on you, depending on your height, complexion, bearing, etc. The style you think you like might just not flatter you in reality – although the end-choice is, of course, yours. Take their experience into consideration when making a selection.

Always pay attention to the cut of the clothing – it makes a huge difference in how it looks on you. Here, more than anywhere else, the professional salesman can be of help.

Shop For Style Online

Surely it’s considered a major fashion faux pas – turning up somewhere in the same outfit as someone else. If the current crop of high street shops are anything to go by, however, you’d be forgiven for thinking that clothing conformity is something we’re all striving towards.

Let’s face it, for those of us looking for something a little bit ‘different’, high street shopping can be a pretty dreary and dispiriting experience. Just imagine that you’re blindfolded and parachuted into a UK city’s shopping street – your blindfold is removed – do you know where you are? The answer is that there will probably be very few clues, as you will find exactly the same shops wherever you go. The ‘usual suspects’ will be side by side, churning out similar-styled garments and cashing in on the latest ‘celebrity style’ craze with cheap copies of couture pieces.

To those who crave individualism and want to dress with a bit of flair and originality, this copycat culture is depressing. Kate Moss only has to appear looking stunning dressed in her own inimi

ur hard earned cash on faked fashion which isn’t going to make us look a million dollars, and won’t make us look like Kate in a million years. When it comes to mock fashion the real mockery is the one we make of ourselves.

Don’t despair! The internet is a fantastic resource for anyone seeking their own unique style. There are plenty of places to shop online offering distinctive, desirable apparel and accessories which will set you apart from the ‘clothing clones’ without breaking the bank. The benefits of buying online are many; no more trooping round town elbowing others out of the way, no queues, and no last minute buying because the shop’s about to shut, only to get home and discover your panic purchase looks terrible on or has traces of cosmetics on the collar. Instead you can shop from the comfort of your home, browsing and buying at your leisure.

Small businesses and solo fashion designers use the web to showcase their products, and because their overheads are lower (no huge retail premises to maintain or large staff to pay) you have a real opportunity to purchase gorgeous garments and attractive accessories which won’t cost the earth. There are also sites selling quality second-hand and vintage fashion pieces, allowing you to track down your own style statement for a fraction of the price of buying new. If something is described as ‘hand made’ don’t let memories of Auntie Dot’s amazing asymmetrical unravelling knitwear cloud your judgment – handmade usually means lovingly crafted with great attention to quality and detail, and can definitely denote a one-off, original clothing item which will be the envy of others and a fashion favourite for years to come.

If you’re more concerned about the look you want than the designer label you’re wearing, there are a few points to consider when buying over the internet. Search for sites with decent product photographs and detailed descriptions, not tiny little ‘thumbnail’ images. After all, you wouldn’t buy a product from a catalogue unless you had a good idea what it looked like. Use careful keywords to narrow and speed your internet searches. For example, if you’d prefer a product in a quality fibre, include ‘wool’ or a more specific term such as ‘mohair’ as one of your search words to find precisely what you want faster. Vague, all-encompassing search terms will only drag the high street to your desktop, and you’ll end up ploughing through ‘virtual’ polyester! Make sure sites offer secure checkouts that encrypt your credit-card details; safe and trusted payment methods include PayPal, WorldPay and NoChex, although there are plenty of others.

Finally, enjoy the experience! The internet gives you a great choice, and buying online from a smaller supplier often means you’ll receive a much higher quality product and level of service than you’d find in a vast anonymous ‘bricks and mortar’ store. Independent online retailers are keen to involve their customers in a real relationship, and you’ll find yourself returning regularly to your favourite fashion sites. Shopping to suit yourself can be very rewarding, and not just financially.

Impact of Fashion Styles

When shopping for fashion clothes and accessories you have lot of choices to select; as many budding designers and small online fashion labels are competing with each other to put forward a great alternative in the market. Along with the advent of internet you can gain a little help from both online and offline fashion stores which offer originality, quality and flexibility as they are willing to provide you just the thing you want and as you wish. By doing an internet search or by visiting small fashion labels, will offer you a variety of huge choices and you can be aware of what is fashionable right now. There is a new take on almost each and every fashion trend among lot of companies which are at the fore front of new designs. In the modern competitive market trend there are extensive range of clothing materials and accessories which are having unique looks and styles, and are supplied by many fashion businesses.

Just think, can fashion be considered as an aspect which is connected with glamour or glitz? Is it worth to spend thousands in order to acquire the latest clothes and accessories? Whether it is the jeans, sweaters, pants, shirts, coats, jackets, suits, leather or fur which attracts the people with impressive images of fashion items regularly that are shown in television channels and in various fashion magazines. Whatever be the reason, this fashion craze will results in emotional illnesses like depression, low self esteem and many psychological and physical effects.

It is commonly believed that individuals are themselves are responsible for their own actions. On the other hand you should not underestimate the effect of the changing images in the fashion industry. In short our eyes are subjected to have a feast everyday due to the constantly changing fashion trends. It expresses the way a person looks, thinks and acts. So we have to move forward with these trends and probably if we are reluctant to accept this sequence then we will be termed as an old-fashioned dunce that lacks in taste. The effect of this is to bring the viewer’s mind under control and to make them to accept such unrealistic role without questioning them.

It had been made clear that fashion is not the reflection of a consumer’s real taste. It actually makes the people to deprive off the power and as a result they are not able to express it in honest manner. The consumers are compelled in an indirect way to decide what and when to buy, what all things and accessories to carry and the like. Thus these fashion styles had put us into a situation which make us helpless and leaves us at their mercy without representing reality. It summons up visual images of expensive and fashionable clothes and accessories are only for rich and famous people as they can only afford. The image sometimes includes clothes which paint women in a manner which gives us an emotional injury which not only hurts, but also affect the women’s mobility factor.

Men Love Shopping

Does your man hate shopping? Whisper “La Martina” to him! These two little words have a magical effect on men.

Since ages, women have complained about the reluctance of their men to shop for clothes. Mention shopping to them, and suddenly they would have a power point presentation to make or a garage to clean. They would even be ready to prepare dinner for you. But shopping? Oh no, not again!

Scientists have reached out to the moons and galaxies. But they have still not able to find out what, in a male’s brain, makes him repulsive to shopping. Your man may get involved in a brawl. The bruises would not pain him more than going inside a clothe store and choosing nice shirt for himself.

Help Your Man Shop

Wish your man would be more attracted to those glamorous stores and malls. Introduce him to online stores for clothes, especially La Martina. They are developed in a way to attract the attention of males who prefer cleaning to shopping. These stores are a success in convincing a man that shopping can be fun and useful. When he sees the vast collection of La Martina shirts online, he would be stunned. Yes, clothes can have variety. They don’t always have to be the plain, same-style shirts, and trousers for males.

And if you think men do not care about fashion, you are mistaken. Although your man may not show it, he discreetly wants to look “in.” Then why he avoids the stores as if he’s going to get a break out of allergic rashes entering into one? Well, we can leave that for the scientists to solve the mystery. Right now, what you can do is make Martina the word synonymous to shopping and you will never complain of your man not shopping again.
Benefits Of La Martina Shopping

After reading the following benefits, it’s not you but your man who will drag you to the computer screen and show you the fabulous designs in shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and more.

* The online stores do not require you to leave the comfort of your home. He can easily shop in his paijamas, slouching lazily on the couch.
* Online shopping has a technical side to it. It requires working on the gadget called laptop or PC. So there is the combination of the man and his machine (read computer). Your man will love such kind of shopping.
* Online stores have a lesser overhead. Hence, it saves money as compared to brick and mortar shopping. Mention this to your man, and he will jump right to his computer seat.
* If your man is of the shy species, Martina is even better. He won’t have to worry about the “prying eyes” of the women. He can shop alone in the serenity of his house.
* If your man is a busy bee, he can still shop. So, now he has no excuse for avoiding buying a cute shirt.

La Martina has changed the way man looks at shopping. Don’t be surprised if you catch him shopping online on his laptop in the middle of the night!
